Aqua Club – If you are looking for a new way to start your day, the pool is just the place to go! Aquasize will provide some healthy exercise and neighborly fun!
Asian Mah Jongg – If you don’t know how to play this fun game, not a problem – the others in the club will teach you!
Bridge Club – The Bridge group is an informal gathering of friendly bridge enthusiasts. Novices and beginners are welcome.
Bunco Club – The Bunco club is made up of a friendly, fun group of women, but if any men wish to play, they are more than welcome! There is no special skill needed to play. It costs five dollars for the night but can win triple the amount. It continues throughout the year and it is a fun night for all.
Computer Club – The computer room is open seven days a week in the morning. The room is staffed with volunteer monitors, so occasionally it is closed. Non-Club members of the community are invited to visit twice before making the decision to join the club. When teachers are available, classes are offered. There is also a technician who will repair computers (members only) for a nominal fee.
Fine Arts Club – The members of the Solera Fine Arts Club would like to encourage the community to examine the possibilities offered by the fine art classes. Everyone is welcome to join. You do NOT need experience ranging from beginners to seasoned artists and offers a completely noncompetitive environment.
Colored Pencil Class – Previous fine art experience is not needed to participate in this class. Most students have had little or no art training when they begin. The club encourages you to take the time to visit the class and see how much fun and creative gratification this class offers.
Garden Club – This is a virtual, no commitment gardening club named Sustainable Green Solera. Just go to Facebook and ask to join! The club hopes to bring everyone valuable information, discount coupons, and advice from experts on drought tolerant landscaping. Photos of the flora and fauna from exotic vacations or hikes are always welcome. We are one great community living on one tiny planet and conservation is the key!
Genealogy Club – Bring your past to life! Discover your family history! Do you have “bits and pieces” of family history? Want to organize and grow your family tree? Where in the world are your roots? Come join us and find out!

Mah Jongg Club – Mah Jongg is a rummy-like game played with tiles instead of cards. American Mah Jongg is played using a card issued by the National Mah Jongg League to make standard hands. The card changes every year, and this makes the game fun and challenging.
Mexican Canasta – It’s not only a great place to meet some really great people and form friendships but also a great card game. It is easy to learn and fun to play. This card game is a great way to keep your brain active and you can learn how to play in a very short time.
Mexican Train – Easy to learn! Fun to play! This is a domino game that is simple and interesting, with friends and smiles included!
NAN (Neighbors Assisting Neighbors) – NAN is a community service organization comprised of Solera residents who volunteer their time and efforts to assist their Solera neighbors. New club volunteers are always needed.
The Pickleball Club – This club has been approved as a “Charter Club” of Solera and we are proud to be a legitimate part of the Solera community. As a club, there are no annual dues. Are you a beginner, played before or a pro? Join the club for some fun, exercise and camaraderie. If you’ve ever played ping pong, tennis or racquetball, you have an advantage over players that have no experience. There are even new and improved pickleball courts. Just bring your hat, sunglasses, sun block and water. We have the equipment you need to play.
Poker Club – All new residents – come on down and join the club with your Solera neighbors. We currently have Crazy Poker, Casino Poker, and No Limit Texas Hold-em.
Solera Ladies Club – This club is for the women of Solera dedicated to having fun, socializing and meeting friends and neighbors for outings, activities, events, and parties. Anyone interested in seeing what this club offers is welcome to any of the meetings or activities.
Solera Singles Club – This club plans many events each year for single ladies to enjoy and make friends. It is a great way to stay busy and have fun!
Solera Stagers – All the world’s a stage, and a few lucky people get to be players—those in the Stagers drama club! The members put on shows and have more planned. If you want to drop in, there is improve, workshops, and fun. Actors, techies, playwrights and fun people are encouraged to join, no experience necessary!
Solera @Anthem Senior Tennis Club – All levels are welcome to drop in and are encouraged to join and meet other Solera tennis enthusiasts! There is no fee to join the club.
Veterans and First Responders Club – Together, we honor those that served!
Bead Weaving – Meet on a weekly basis.
Billiards – Get cued up behind the Eight ball.
Bocce Ball – Meet one night a week.
Mizu Fitness – This was developed by a senior for seniors. These are exercises that mimic Tai Chi and free style martial art routines using the natural resistance of water to enhance strength, speed, flexibility and balance. The movements are slow to moderate and result in less stress on the knees back. Keep an open mind and try something new! Classes are held once a week.
Needlework Group – Do you have a needlework project that you never finished, or one that you never started but always wanted to? The group meets twice a week to keep their hands, minds, and mouths busy while having fun. Bring any needlework project. These are not professionals but many of the participants have years of experience and are willing to share knowledge and friendship.
Rummikub – Come join the fun with this lively tile game! It doesn’t matter if you have never played before, there is always someone that can teach you! There is no special skill needed and it is a fun game to play!
Photography Group – This group is about all things photography, including software.
Scrabble – This is such a fun game and a great way to tune up your vocabulary!
Scrapbooking Crop It Group – This is an informal gathering of scrappers. Bring your own projects to work on and your needed supplies. New or experienced people are welcome.
Travel Group – Solera residents assemble to travel with fellow neighbors when possible to take advantage of group discounts.
Zentangle – This is a wonderful method of creating art. The method uses simple line and circle strokes to form designs which can be combined with other designs to create beautiful pieces of art. There is no pressure to “do it correctly”. There are no Group or other fees charged.
